Notes

MCB, TMM, & BD:

The LJ was at a good level for spin fishing this morning so I fished the section around Huntingdon Furnace. I started below the little township bridge and fished up to the RR bridge above it. I had a nice morning in large part due to the fact that I had the entire section to myself. No one there when I got there, no one there when I left, and I didn't see anyone fishing in the section when I was fishing it.

It was a good morning, not great, but good. I caught 20 fish, 18 brown trout, one smallmouth, and one little bluegill. I caught three of the mini-trout this morning in this section and the biggest fish I caught this morning were a couple of 12 inch browns. The smallmouth was a little fellow and so was the bluegill. I caught both of them near the RR bridge, just about when I was getting ready to quit and walk back to the truck.

That's it for fishing for this week and next week we will have Trevin here with us, so I may get to fish a day with him. However it will be bank fishing and probably at Whipples. Joe brought his new wing-ding machine and his modified beer-can turkey cooker last night. The only problem is that his wife is going to the hospital for an operation on Friday, so we aren't sure how much cooking Joe will be able to do on Saturday. I guess Sam will have to handle the load, if Joe can't. We now have 50 pounds of chicken wings in the freezer and Joe has two turkeys in his freezer, so there will be lots of fowl to eat on Saturday. Come hungry!
