Notes

Excellent day on the river. Landed 15 fish on the day and had at least that many LDR's. Constant action except for a lull around 1:30-3:00pm. At 3pm I hooked and landed the biggest fish of the day, a 25 inch brown that gulped down the fly of the day, a Tan and Brown striped bead head zonker. Between my fishing partner and I we caught 6 fish at or above the 20 inch mark. Most of the large ones were Browns but we did catch a couple significant cutts and one 19 inch rainbow. I started the day fishing a white zonker but had it taken by a hungry fish just 100 yards into the float when he took off upstream, outpacing my drag he popped it off in about 2 seconds. That was a nice fish.
