Notes

Was a great day on Settles, not because I caught fish, but because I fished with my Dad. I couldn't wait to go fishing, i slept about 3 hours the night before. We stopped at Starbuck's and grabbed a quick cup of coffee, then off to Settles. I caught a 10 inch brown standing on the rocks waiing for Dad to get rigged up. I walked Dad to a spot where I'd been very successful about a week before, (catching about 20 fish) and I knew he wouldn't have a problem wading that area. Not sure what the fish didn't like about Dad's presentation, I caught a decent size little Brown while I was showing Dad how to drift the run. I caught about 14-15- fish total, and lost several including 1 better than 14, he jumped once and thru the hook. Dad did manage to get bit and landed 1 fish, although I was standing about 3 feet behind him with the camera ready, he dropped the fish before I could get a picture, it was a beautiful 26 inch Brown.....NOT! I hope the day was worth it for him, it sure was fun for me...you just can't beat a day fishing with your Dad, not matter who's catching the fish.
