Notes

By 11:00 am i had caught 5 fish and two to the net. All small.

Caugjt several more on a hopper in the afternoon.

It was fun moving up and down the river. I didn’t stay in one place very long. I saw quote a bit of river.

I’m getting better at identifying where fish should be. I usually find fish either by getting refused or catching. I’m working on my presentation, trying to get a better drift. Once today i was fishing a hole and not much was happening so i lenghened my tippett and right away i caught one.

I’m also working on getting set up after casting. Sometimes I’m looking for the fly and I don’t have the line in the correct hand. I’m not ready to catch. I need to get ready because often things happen quickly. If you are not ready you might not catch one you should catch.
