Notes
I rated this day good regardless of not "catching" any fish. I hooked 7 fish in about an hour and a half but lost them all. Spawners were visible at the tops of riffles. I fished a tear drop nymph and an egg and hooked a couple. Then tried a yellow yummy and the fish ignored it completely. Switched back to nymphing (red copper john and an egg) and hooked up a couple of times. Then I tried a double bunny and the rainbows responded nearly everytime it passed by....mostl just nipped at tail and chased it away from their territory. I hooked three fish on the double bunny in very short time, but lost them all.
