Notes
Oster was busy as usual. I started with a floating line and small bead bugger, doing a roly poly retrieve and picked up several fish and missed a bunch of hits. After awhile Cal was ready to try fishing so I got the spinning rod rigged up with the same Egan's bugger below a water float. Cal was able to pick up casting pretty well. He had a few hits that I don't think he realized were hits. After he fished for awhile, he went off to explore and I started fishing again. Things had slowed down, so I started rotating through a few flies and techniques. I'd get a few hits on something, then nothing. I finished up the day with a Tungsten Surveyor and a Chironocone below a pinch-on float that was nearly impossible to see. I caught 3 on the chironocone and missed several others. Nothing on the surveyor.
