PM 1 Bass 4 Pike (1.85lbs)(It was windy out of the SE, so I started in our bay over by the Platte Lake Resort, getting a quick pike on the Crappie Chicken. Then not much until I was well into 2025, Flat working the break where I got a couple of pike. I then went to SPSI, working up the Island's west side, not getting a bite. I thought maybe it was calming down some, so I headed to Sullivan. It was rolling in Sully. I made it to the NE Access and fished the reed line in white caps, not getting any bites. I made my way over to the Point/Flat Juice, attempting to anchor and getting a quick bass on the Chicken. I had to re-anchor several times. I lost one bite, and backlash broke off one of the Crappie Chicken Jigs; I did try to find the line, but in those conditions, that was pointless. A moment of contemplation as I restrung the rod.
