Notes

PM 7Bass 11Pike 1Sun(16.20lbs)(The OutKast Chicken Nugget and Crappie Colored Chicken Jigs arrived. I discovered I accidentally ordered the Perch colored Chicken Nugget. I had Dad drive me because they might need the car for errands; they didn't. It was a bit of a rough, wet, cold ride beyond West Point until I got to the Big Islands lee, smooth sailing from there except at the Island Split, but I was mostly with the waves headed south. I started working up the Point Flat Reeds getting three quick pike on the Crappie Chicken. I was anchored by the time I got the third pike. I then quickly put two 3-lb bass in the boat on the 5/8oz Crappie Chicken. I got a 1.5lber on the Chicken Nugget by the reeds. I got a 2lber on the Big blade Chatterbait.. All of that in the first 40 minites. I thought I was in for a great trip, but the action stopped. I moved a couple of times and lost a couple of bites. I tried the Big Walleye waypoints, nothing. I then ran to Jaimen's and threw the ToadZ a little bit. It was calm enough for surface activity, but nothing was going on. I worked the reed line and finally got into fish across the first major boat lane when I started throwing the Chicken Nugget. I got the trips big bass first, then a little one to fill the limit and two dink pike. I quickly trolled to the P/F Juice and got one cull. I also lost a fish. The sunset happened, the wind died and I didn't get any bites. I shined at the GOMH, and pike had moved in. Saw a couple that were 5lb class. )
