Notes

PM (I tried trolling the Sullivan Platte River Outlet (SPRO) Trough/Deeper Channel for eyes after reading something in the Target Walleye Email about his favorite first ice spots. I got nothing but weeds, and my hands got cold. I had a scare with the motor. It sounded horrible. I thought maybe I had jacked up the lower unit. I shut it down, checked it for weeds, and restarted it. I then put it in reverse and guuned it. Then switched to forward and it ran fine. I stopped at the GOMH, Shined a good-sized walleye and bass. I turned around and fished for them. No bites, but I did see the eye again.)
