Notes

PM 1 Gold (9.12lbs/29" My personal best walleye. I did 9 laps after arriving. I then went down on the SW side. I thought for sure I saw two eyeballs in the middle of the channel about 15 feet out, so I expected to get hit, but that didn't happen. I then wen to the NE side and was just about to quit when the Frenzy Minnow got held up for a second. I didn't set the hook immediately. I wasn't sure if it was a hit or a weed or maybe I ran into a fish. About seven casts later, fish on. It didn't fight especially hard. I thought it was just a lazy 20 something golden bullhead. When I went to pull it up on the rocks, I was like wait a minute, this is a big fish. Thankfully, I was able to land it. 9.12lbs/29 inches. Definitely the longest walleye I've ever caught and possibly the heaviest. I do not know what any of the 28.5" that I have caught out of Mille Lacs weighed.)
