Notes
PM 14 Bass 2 Gold 12 Pike (19.56lbs)(I took dad for a pain management consultation and got ready to head out soon after we got back. It was windy out, so I started in front of Platte Lake Resort on the eastern side of our bay. I didn't get a bite on the chicken in 15 minutes. I switched to the Jackhammer and got a very small pike on my third cast up by shore. I got quite a few bites and mostly dink pike on 2025 Flat. That white sailboat was out cruising around again today. It clouded up and I headed down to SPSI getting a small pike off the end of the point on the Jackhammer. THe wind calmed down a bit as I fished the West Trough. I missed one bite and headed to Sullivan after giving it a good try. Wind and waves weren't to bad when I arrived on Point/Flat. I anchored instead of drifting. I got a pike pretty quickly on the Chicken. I think I lost a fish on the Jackhammer and got a 4lb pike on the Cabbage Crusher that I thought was going to be a big bass. I moved a second time and didn't get anything. I moved a third time and hit the juice getting bit on six straight casts catching 5 nice bass all on the Chicken. I got seven bass on the Chicken total. It was pretty dark when that stopped working. I got another 7 bass on the Cabbage Crusher. I moved one more time. It started to sprinkle and I wasn't getting bit so I headed to the GOMH. I threw out a Frenzy Minnow when I was about 75 yards from the bridge and slowly trolled underneath it. I thought I had a hit for a couple seconds, then nothing, then about three seconds laterI had a fish on. I landed that 25"/4.58lb walleye. I quickly ran back into Sullivan with the trolling motor and weighed and released the fish there. I did another pass and got a 4.05lb walleye on this pass. I went back one more time, but didn't get a hit. I then headed home for the night. I'm lucky I didn't get poured on as I never checked the radar for rain once the entire night.)
