the fishing was on a private stream, very small, some deep pools and lots of riffles and nice structure, spur of the moment, used mid flex 3 weight rod, started nymphing then went to surface insects as there was a un-identified hatch coming off, fish were rising, hooked several mid sized browns in the 10 to 18 inch. all sight fishing, good fight with 23 inch brown. good fishing day!
