Notes
Tandem rig with the midge up and hares ear down. One small split shot between the two and a small foam indicator 3.5 ft from the bottom fly. Fished a deep stretch on the edge of a faster run right where river bottom changes from dark to light.
Saw many rises and had several takes on my indicator! But didn't feel like changing leader to dry fly fish.
Lost more than I landed, by a lot.
