Notes

Near perfect conditions on the Mo: chilly, no wind, intermittent drizzle, nobody out there. Smallish pods of 5 to 10 fish periodically churning in the film. Light and intermittent hatches of blue winged olives and midges and nothing else. Worked my way from top to bottom at least 3 times in the calmer pockets of the big shelf. At the end of the day, switched to a streamer and hit the lower, deeper sections for a couple of nice hard-fighting fish.

I would have done better with smaller bugs, but still out of stock from the last time. Next time, go with tandem-rigged bugs, size 18 or even 20. This time I used 4X tippet which helped eliminate snap-offs, but may have gotten me less fish too.
