Notes
Mo. whopped me again. Some pseudos on the surface but not much feeding. Tried streamers....got zero strikes. nymphed a san juan and mirage and no strikes. also a pink scud. Fished a mirage under a BWO and caught one small fish on BWO and had one other large fish take and pull off.
The key to the pseudos (tiny bwos) is effecient feeding. Found bigger fish in a slow side channel that was maybe knee deep (more like shin deep) and only 10 feet wide. Never would have guessed there were fish in there....but when the water cools down and the prey is tiny, fish have to feed effeciently....shallow slow water for sipping.
