Time Caught: 6:25/6:35 am Fish Depth: 1' - 3' Water Depth: 3' - 6' Retrieve: Semi-steady at medium speeds. Notes: The bass seemed to be going for crankbaits in the early morning hours, cast to shore off rocky points in the main lake. I also caught one more on the Bomber, but it was too small so I didn't list it. |

Notable Fish: 2lb 7oz exactly! Very impressive. Time Caught: 12:45 pm - 6:40 pm Fish Depth: 10' - 15' Water Depth: 10' - 15' Kept/Released: 1 / 4 Retrieve: Dropshot. Slow deadstick/subtle drift. Notes: As soon as I switched over to the Bungee on my dropshot rig, I started catching Spots. Jon switched over and started catching them too. I caught the biggie out in the main lake off a mud line formed by boat traffic. Others came off steep bluffs. |

Time Caught: 7:00 pm Fish Depth: 3' - 6' Water Depth: 3' - 6' Retrieve: Semi-fast. Notes: Yes! I caught a White Bass, as was my wish. I actually saw them schooling up at the surface chasing shad off a main lake point. I made a cast to the school and this bass hit immediately, putting up a strong fight! An excellent catch! |
