ID F&G has stocked quite a few fish in the new Ester Simplot Pond between last fall and this spring. I spent an evening fishing around the north and west sides of the pond, with the stiff, cold wind at my back, and did poorly. I managed a couple hits, but each time I tried setting the hook, there was either nothing there or a couple really light pulls and then nothing. I'm wondering if the catchables they planted are tiny...
