Notes
I wet-waded the Boise River stretch below Americana bridge down to the bike bridge. The flows are still pretty high and made wet-wading in sandals and jean shorts a bit tough. There were quite a few caddis on the water and I saw a couple decent trout rise. I did not see as many fish rising as I thought I would, though.
At dusk, the #16 tan/brown caddis that I've seen on the Owyhee started hatching in good numbers and I had a couple dozen of them crawling on me. I caught my 3 fish just before dusk. I had a couple other hits as well.
