Notes

USGS 13295000 VALLEY CREEK AT STANLEY ID
The usual catch-fest. Nymphed the usual hole and caught many, missed twice as much. Lost 4-5 cuz of rotten tippet (break-offs). Lost a BIG something on the second cast. Worked the top of run and got hits as soon as drifted into pool. Fished a dry in the hole above and got Cutts and Brookies. Went back to hole after resting it an hour and started all over again. Not much topwater action in the hole but lost 2 to break-offs on the dry.
Fished back to the car with an Adams and it was continuous Brookie action - every cast, a fish. Worked small holes and runs back up.
Water was crystal clear and flows perfect. Using Valley Creek as a reference but not really a good reflection of the flows on Marsh.
2hr15 min from creek to home.
