Notes
messed around in creek late in the evening. Excellent brookie water, but I could not get anything to take a dry fly....finally I spotted some fish and they completely ignored the dry everytime (wouldn't even look at it)....I put on a nymph and caught the fish I saw first cast. I think it was too early in the season for the fish to be used to looking up for dries (the mountain lakes still have icebergs floating)....great water year so far in MT.
