Notes

USGS 13192200 SF BOISE RIVER AT NEAL BRIDGE NR ARROWROCK DAM ID
Headed down cuz heard flows were about to increase soon. Canyon was nothing but a large lake.
Walked along R bank ~1/2 mile. John suggested some damsel flies and ? with a cased caddis(?) dropper. Caught a couple small ones on the dropper but no action on the top. Large hatch was constant but no risers.
Switched to a Copper woolly Muddler and caught one nice 20 incher and lost 2-3 more. One was HUGE but I fucked around with the camera instead of landing fish and he broke off.
Tried green and black but they really seemed to like the copper. Usually hit on the swing or within the first few pulls.
Not the easiest stream-side hike but not the worst. Pretty water.
