Notes
Jeremiah and I took my canoe up to Crane Prairie Lake to fish for large mouth bass. We saw Howard our guide from the previous trip and he was coming off the water as we were getting on. He told us that the lake had dropped a foot in a day and that the bite was really slow. We started off fishing submerged brush along the shoreline and I got a strike using a black and silver banjo minnow (1-4ft.). We worked that area pretty hard and didn't catch a fish. We decided to try deeper water (6-8ft.) I switched over to a Texas Rigged worm and caught a fish wirth in the first 10 minutes, Jeremiah hooked up to a larger one and another after that. We caught three fish and finished the day off around 8:45
