Notes

Day #3, floating Madison again.
Met up with Bryan from Blue Ribbon Flies. Easily the best guide we had for the trip. Fun, knowledgeable, really customer-focused. Helped me a lot on mending in the high wind.
As usual, Lisa killed them. I'd pick-up as she landed one and then she land the next before I could mend the line from the back of the boat.
The 2 highlights were the HUGE Brown Lisa hooked early in the float - a monster! The second was the large Bow I got speed-stripping a streamer through a shallow riffle. The fish literally attacked the escaping fly! Both trophy catches you only see in magazines!
Awesome day but the wind was howling. I had a hard time casting and mending in the small target area from the back. And it didn't help having to pick-up after all the fish Lisa caught!
But a great day of fishing with an A+ guide. Will ask for him again when we go back.
