Notes

MCB, TMM, & BD:

I fished the LJ again this morning only I moved upstream to the section right below the Greer school. It's the section that someone posted a few years ago, but no one will admit that they posted it, so as far as I know you can fish it and not be bothered. I fished from below the first RR bridge to above the second RR bridge in that section. It may be the last of the old stone RR bridges until you get close to Tyrone, but I'm not sure about that. No one was there when I got there and no one came while I was there, so it was a nice quite morning with a whole section to myself.

I had an interesting day, fish wise that is! I caught 23 fish, 12 brown trout, 5 smallmouth bass, 5 rock bass, and 1 bluegill. I'm sure that's the most other types of fish that I have every caught in a three hour period on the LJ. I caught two mini smallmouth and three in the 9 or 10 inch range. I caught 2 mini trout and the biggest fish and biggest trout was a 14 inch brown that I pulled out from under the second RR bridge. I caught 5 red eyes, all rather small, but I don't think I have ever caught 5 of those on the LJ before. The other fish was a 6 inch bluegill and it's been a long time since I caugth a bluegill on the LJ. It just goes to show you that the Herb Homemade Spinner is good for a lot of different species.
