Notes

Been awhile since we were up this way. Traveled up beyond Baumgarter Camp.
The river was clear, warm - prime for the area. Not as many campers as we expected, there just prior to Fourth of July.
The fish were aggressive and numerous. Loved anything big and buggy. Fished the pools, holes, and runs. Little action on the flats. Got the bigger fish in the runs and pools - usually the bigger the pool, the larger the fish. Had more luck in the faster water pre/post pools as opposed to the slower water in the meat of the pools. Rock gardens were prime. But there are fish literally everywhere your fly floated.
Also, the harder it was to access a spot, the better fishing and quality of fish.
Always easy fishing with tons of fish though not the best quality in size. Perfect place for a day to catch lots of aggressive and easy fish.
