Notes

USGS 13340600 NF CLEARWATER RIVER NR CANYON RANGER STATION ID

Took Lisa out Labor Day weekend. I had been there ~10 days previously and slayed them (90+ temps).
This time, the fishing was good but nothing compared to earlier trip. The weather had cooled alot and seemed to de-activate the fishing. As before, hoppers were the fly once it warmed up a bit, but that wasn't till ~ 12/1pm. Saw ALOT of Kokanee and wondered if they spooked/ran-off the cuts?
Threw everything for a couple of hours beforehand with little action.
Water was still clear, weather was nice and cool. Very few folks out.
Fished ~ mile marker 46 (nice drive-in parking) and stayed there all day.
Beautiful river.Stayed at Outback Cabins in Pierce.
