Notes

Another good day. Started up river past the cabin. Landed two kings on the skunk pattern. Skunk patter has been money the last couple of weeks. After about an hour there I decided to head down river past the public access. Really good water down there and not many fisherman. Should go there more often. Really good Steelhead water too. Deep pools and a lot of cover for Trout. Landed a few more Kings on the skunk, including a feisty little jack. All the kinds I hooked were on a Chuck and Duck Rig with 10lb mono tippet. After that I started fishing for browns with a Chartreuse egg with a vale. Headed down river and into the rapids. Really fast water there. Landed probably the best Brown Trout I've ever caught on my flyweight with a chartreuse egg with a vale. Hooked the brown on a chuck and duck rig with 6lb carbon fiber tippet.
