Notes

Hatch started in warmest part of day. Fish stacked in shallow swirl pools where they had easy access to BWOs. A mirage nymph dropped about two feet behind a BWO worked well.

Sounds like a solid afternoon. 54 degree water temp is pretty warm! Good stuff for hatches. Do the MT rivers close for rainbow spawning during April and May?
