Notes
It's everything the books says. Long drive, stayed 2 nights. Hiked in ~1-2 miles. Difficult access to the stream, however, unsure what was beyond my campsite. The stream itself is narrow with steep, brushy banks so plan on getting in. My 8'9" made some areas tricky to cast.
The cutts are dark, fast and aggressive. Never did see any of the reputed bulltrout cruisers but had a great time with the cuts. Did see a huge (>30 in) trout in Jones Creek (?) during a pitstop.
Take along bug spray or plan on being harassed unmercilessly by flies- they don't bite but are all over you.
The scenery is unmatched, as well as the wildlife - bears, wolves, elk, deer abound.
